The Cool Kids is a hip hop group from Chicago, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan. The duo consists of Antoine "Mikey Rocks" Reed (originally from Matteson, Illinois) and Evan "Chuck Inglish" Ingersoll (originally from Mount Clemens, Michigan). The Cool Kids' music has been released primarily via their MySpace page, but have been signed to the independent Chocolate Industries via their own label C.A.K.E. Recordings.
The Bake Sale came out in 2008. The producer was Chuck Inglish. The Bake Sale is the critically acclaimed second EP. It has sold over 50,000 copies in the U.S.
Their newest album is the Gone Fishing. It is the mixtape from The Cool Kids and Don Cannon. The mixtape was released on May 4th, 2009. It is available for free download on their website.
The Complex Magazine have made an interview with this guys in October 2008. This fashion story's name is “Leaders Of The New Cool". Here is the video about this work.Mikey and Chuck worked together with the fashion brand, Swagger. It hooks up with a series of prominent up and coming as well as established music artists as they present their 2009 spring/summer collection.
In Mar 2008 The Cool Kids and the Amsterdam Clubkids made together a photoshoot. The famous designer, Joey W. Elgersma made some compositions for them. They used two collections: Ashes Elgersma and Branko Elgersma.
